Returnable assets
RFID tracking for returnable packaging and assets
See where every container, tote, pallet, keg or cylinder is located: in the warehouse, in transit or with a customer. Issue and return are captured automatically and sent to 1C or ERP.
Turnover and return
Every returnable asset receives a movement history
An RFID tag links the asset to a shipment, route and counterparty. A gate or handheld reader captures issue, return and movement without locating the label one item at a time.
The system displays the current holder, time outside the warehouse, cycle history and positions that require return or inspection.
Who it is for
For assets that regularly leave the warehouse
The solution fits returnable packaging that has value, moves continuously and is distributed among counterparties.
- Plastic totes, containers and reusable packaging.
- Pallets, roll cages and transport carts.
- Kegs, gas cylinders and other serialized vessels.
- Specialized packaging for production and service operations.
- Rental assets and equipment transferred to customers.
Scope of work
How the tracking system is built
A pilot covers one route, packaging group or issue point to validate read performance and the return procedure.
Registry and process
Define asset types, owners, routes, documents, statuses and return rules.
Tag test
Validate attachment, material, washing, outdoor use and mechanical loads on representative samples.
Control points
Select gates, handheld readers or a combined event-capture scheme.
Software and exchange
Configure cards, counterparties, due dates, reports and integration with 1C or ERP.
Pilot and rollout
Validate one flow, document the procedure and estimate the next control points.
Scenarios
What the system records
Events are linked to the actual operation and accounting document.
Components
Solution components
The architecture follows the asset material, route and the easiest point for recording the operation.
Industrial RFID tags matched to the material and operating environment.
Gate portals or handheld readers.
A card and movement history for each asset.
Directories for counterparties, routes and statuses.
Reports for returns, cycle time and turnover.
Integration with 1C, ERP or WMS documents.
FAQ
Returnable-asset tracking questions
Can metal containers be tagged?
Yes. Industrial on-metal tags are used. The attachment point and range are validated on a representative container.
How does the system know who holds the asset?
The issue event is linked to a document and counterparty. On return, the status changes automatically or after operation confirmation.
Can we start without a portal?
Yes. A pilot can use a handheld reader when the flow and procedure allow events to be recorded without a fixed control point.
Can you integrate the data with 1C?
Yes. The exchange scope follows the configuration: directories, shipments, returns, statuses and reports.
